On the Spice tour you visit a spice farm where you can see, smell, feel and taste herbs, fruits, spices, roots, bark and perfume. From vanilla to cinnemon, ginger to ylangylang.
The spicetour concludes with a dinner with swahili food, that is why it is good to start the tour around 10 so you finish with lunch and fruit.
Abet aka Mr. Spice has a very nice spice farm closed to Stone Town. He is known to know the names of all spices in all languages :-)
The spicefarms are closed to Stonetown and transport to the farm in taxi a big part of the expenses of the trip. That is why it is wise to start your Spicetour trip from Stonetown and not from the east coast.
