Before the trip

When you book your ticket try to find an airline that makes it possible to land at Kilimanjaro Airport and departs from either Zanzibar Airport or Dar es Salaam

Day 1

We fetch you at Kilimanjaro Airport and bring you to your hotel of choice in Arusha or even Karatu which is close to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 2

Guided tour in the city, eating local food and getting accustomed to the climate.

Day 3-6

Start your 4 day safari

Day 7 - 9

You will be driven to Lushoto in the Usambara mountains where you start your 3 day hiking tour

Day 10

Depending on your budget you either drive or fly to Zanzibar. We make sure that you arrive in Stone Town in the evening

Day 11 - 13

Stay on Zanzibar and relax

Day 14 fly home

2250$ per person for the nonfly version. If you prefer to fly to Zanzibar it'll be around 2400$

This trip is for you who want to experience nature in Tanzania in a more active way. Sleeping in tents in the game parks, hiking in usambara and active beach holiday . We try to keep the costs low on accomodation and transport, while

Before the trip

Buy your planeticket in and out from Kilimanjaro Airport.

Day 1

We fetch you at Kilimanjaro Airport and bring you to your hotel of choice in Karatu which is close to the holly mountain of the Maasai the Ol Doinyo Lengai

Day 2

Hiking in the area of the holy mountaion of Maasai and visiting a Maasai village.

Day 3-5

Start your 3 day safari

Day 6

Journey by car or plane and ferry to Zanzibar

Day 7

Stay in StoneTown, guided tour in the city, street food in the evening

Day 8

Spice tour and drive to beach hotel in Paje

Day 9

Dive with dolphins in the morning and hike in the mangroove forest in the afternoon

Day 10

Day on the beach, optional : kite surfing if there is wind (mainly in dec jan)

Day 11 plane back to Arusha (the car trip from here would take a whole day, but it's cheaper :-)

Day 12 - 15 hiking in the Usambara mountains

Day 16 fly home from Kilimanjaro Airport

This trip will cost 2560$ for the nonfly version. If you prefer to fly to Zanzibar you will have to pay 2710$
