Dedicated to Lifelong Learning: Hidayah, currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education, is also a part-time instructor, teaching the course 'Introduction to Instructional Technology' to undergraduate students. Through this role, Hidayah inspires aspiring educators to embrace creativity and design impactful learning experiences for the future.
In the ongoing Ph.D. journey, Hidayah aspires to explore the realm of hybrid learning in their dissertation, contributing to the evolving landscape of educational technology.
2017 - 2020
In pursuing a Master's in Education with a focus on Instructional Technology, Hidayah conducted groundbreaking research on the Maker Movement in higher education.
Through qualitative studies and interviews, Hidayah revealed insights into faculty perspectives on the Maker Movement in social sciences.
Emphasizing strategic planning and an interactive teaching approach, the findings advocate for the Maker Movement's expansion to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness. Hidayah's research signals a commitment to innovation and transformative leadership in education.
Hidayah was chosen as the Ambassador for MyEportfolio, initiated by the Ministry of Higher Education, Dato Seri Idris Jusoh. Her video resume was pitched under MyEportfolio@IIUM as a benchmark throughout other public universities as an effort to initiate MyEportfolio. MyEportfolio intends to act as a portal for digital curriculum vitae to showcase students work as a means of selling graduates to industry.
Initially, her video resume was produced for an assignment tasked by her lecturer, Dr. Rosemaliza Kamalludeen. She had the opportunity to share her experience on stage on how her video resume and her e-portfolio enabled her to receive job offers that she had applied for previously.
Since then, she has been attending a few workshops on sharing her experience in the pursuit of getting job offers (to which she had been offered a few companies) through video resumes and E-Portfolios as a means for selling students profile for job application.
Sharing some of the tips and tricks on the technical aspect of producing her video resume as to look as professional as it can be for job application.
She was as one of the Research Assistant in Centre for Teaching and Learning in International Islamic University Malaysia. Assisted the department in the role of graphic designing and other related works such as managing online courses of IIUM Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), supervised by Dr. Shukri Mohd Norin (Director of Centre for Teaching and Learning, IIUM).
Hidayah is now working as a part time Learning Designer cum Graphic Designer under IIUM MOOC Development team at Centre for Teaching and Learning, at International Islamic University Malaysia to assist SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) in developing their course learning materials in IIUM MOOC (Massive Open Online Course).
Her job scope is to design learning materials appropriate for an impactful online learning which involves designing infographics, video production of learning materials etc.
Hidayah had the opportunity to work as an English Montessori Teacher in Sri Ayesha Islamic School, Bangi.
She was exposed to the montessori educational practise in which she would still apply the knowledge as a freelance home tutor.

Despite her passion in Architecture, after having to seek other's opinions and views, she decided to challenge herself to forgo her first year of study in Bachelor Degree in Science Architecture and venture into Educational field whilst putting her passion towards design as her hobby.
She then applied for change of programme from B. Sc. Architecture to B. Ed. Teaching English as a Second Language, minoring in Instructional Technology and managed to graduate Second Upper Class (Hons.), with a CGPA of 3.357 in they year of 2016 (Convocation on Nov 2017).
In addition, she also managed to obtain a CGPA of 4.00 for her active involvement and participation in her co-curricular activities.
During her foundation studies, Hidayah pursued Architecture and Environmental Design in Centre for Foundation Studies in International Islamic University Malaysia, Petaling Jaya back in 2010-2012.
She had received two Best Awards in Statistics and Graphic Communication.
Hidayah recently developed a new interest in running, setting it up as her weekly routine. She also aims to take part in any running events available and collect running medals to meet up with her own 2018 resolution.
