All awarded students will be issued a student ID.
This ID provides access to the library, all sports facilities, your dormitory, and faculty buildings. Additionally, the student ID functions as a rechargeable payment card that can be used at most stores and restaurants in Taiwan. It also serves as a transportation card for buses, trains, high-speed rail, intercity buses, and metro systems.

There are three major student restaurants on campus: 小吃部 Xiao-Chi-Bu, 水木Shui-Mu and 風雲樓Fung-Yun-Lou.
Students with a limited budget are recommended dining at the student restaurants rather than dining outside the campus.

The first floor offers a diverse selection of delicious food options and occasional pop-up stalls, including a bakery, a tea shop, a fruit stall, a brunch store, and stalls for exotic cuisines (e.g. Taiwanese braised dishes and dumplings, Japanese dishes, etc.). There are also optical shop and laundry room, providing students and faculty members of NTHU with convenient lifestyle services.
On the second floor, you will find Punda Coffee, a hair salon, and Lijie Typing and Copying Service.

If awarded students are interested in staying in the on-campus dormitory, the program can assist with the housing request, but accommodation is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. We strongly recommend submitting your request as early as possible to improve your chances of securing a space.
Subject to availability, either 2-person or 4-person shared rooms may be arranged. Please note that room types are not guaranteed and will be assigned based on available space at the time of your request. A housing notification will be sent to you prior to your arrival, if a room has been allocated.
Please note that rooms with air-conditioning may incur additional utility fees.
4-person room with air-conditioner=NT$6,300~9,200/ semester.
Double room with air-conditioner: NT$9,800~16,000/ semester.

NTHU Library is located near the campus entrance in "Learning Resource Center Wang Hong Building". The overall concept of the library is developed around four main themes, represented by the acronym NTHU:
