Rena Marrocco is a 21 year resident of Vista and the proud parent of two children who attended Vista schools, and the proud stepparent of two children who attended schools in Los Angeles.  She served as a PTA member, member of The Monte Vista Elementary School Site Committee, Cub Scout Den Leader, and President of the Vista Unified School District Parent Advisory Committee.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marymount College and Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, where she concentrated on the study of Ethics and Morality.

She owns a successful small family business with her husband and believes that students are best served when stakeholders work together to provide a ladder for their success.  It will be her priority to ensure that VUSD is making available to each student all the tools necessary for them to grow into happy, healthy, and productive members of society.

She represents Trustee Area 2.
