Vinayak previously served as the Caucus's Chief Operations Officer during the 2019-2020 academic year. He was also the President of the Alliance Against Violence, a Liason/Senator for UTSAV, a member of Acting Out, and participated in LEAD360: Voices for Social Change.

"As a person of color, an international student, and a member of the LGBTQ [community], I believe everyone has a right to be heard and feel a sense of belonging. For someone like me who has different identities, [I've] always wanted to be a part of [an] Organisation which helps represent each aspect of [them], which NSCC does. Having worked on different initiatives and ideas, [I] believe taking up a leadership role here will give me an opportunity to create and be a part of difference [in] making the NU community a better place."
