I am excited to begin summer 2026 with ELRC 7500: Technology Leadership in Education, the third course in my pursuit of a Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology.
The key learning objectives for this course include:
1. Explain key concepts, frameworks, competencies, and models related to technology leadership in educational and training settings.
2. Analyze current standards, policies, strategic plans, trends, and best practices that guide educational technology leadership, including AI policy and responsible digital innovation.
3. Identify challenges and opportunities in leading technology-enabled change across K–12, higher education, training, and other learning organizations.
4. Conduct a workplace-based assessment project to examine technology leadership practices in a real educational, training, or professional setting.
5. Develop research-informed recommendations to support digital transformation, responsible innovation, and continuous improvement in a specific institution, unit, or organization.
This course will conclude with the final Tech Leadership project, which will be featured on this site.
