The countdown to Christmas starts here!

Join us for Newport Pagnell's biggest festive celebration as we transform the town into a magical Christmas destination for the day.

With entertainment, market stalls, delicious food, local charities, independent businesses, our popular Lantern Parade and, of course, the magical Christmas Lights Switch On, there's something for the whole family to enjoy.

🌟 Event Highlights

🛍️ Market Stalls Open – 10:00am

🎭 Live Entertainment Begins – 1:00pm

🏮 Lantern Parade – Gather from 4:30pm, parade starts at 4:50pm

🎄 Christmas Lights Switch On – 5:00pm

🚗 Travel & Road Information

To help the day run safely and smoothly, please be aware of the following arrangements.

Parking

Parking bays along the High Street will be suspended from midnight on Saturday 28th November.

Please avoid parking there overnight to help us prepare for the event.

Road Closures

The High Street, from the Doctors Surgery roundabout to Ousebank Street, will be closed from 8:00am until 8:00pm.

Please note:

• The zebra crossing on St John's Street will also be closed.

• Access to Cedars Way will remain available.

• Union Street will operate as a temporary two-way road, with access from the Mill Street end only.

• Please follow all diversion signs and instructions from event marshals.

We appreciate your patience while these temporary arrangements are in place.

🛍️ Stallholders

Approved stallholders will receive an allocated arrival time before the event.

Vehicle access for stallholders begins from 8:30am, with public trading commencing at 10:00am.

Please ensure you follow the arrival instructions provided to help us set up safely and efficiently.

The High Street will be bustling with holiday spirit, and all the shops will be open as usual. Many of them have special promotions, events, or festive treats inside, so be sure to pop in and see what's happening.

Also, make time to explore other exciting activities and markets happening around town, including:
