Merry Christmas From Newport Pagnell Christmas Lights
Welcome to Newport Pagnell Christmas Lights (NPCL), a volunteer-run organisation dedicated to bringing festive magic to our town.
Since 1959, generations of volunteers have worked together to create the Christmas lights that have become a much-loved tradition for residents and visitors alike. Today, we're proud to continue that tradition, bringing our community together through spectacular displays, family events and festive celebrations.
Whether you're here to learn more about us, support our work, volunteer your time or plan your visit to our annual Switch On event, we're delighted to welcome you.
The highlight of our year is our annual Christmas Lights Switch On, held on the last Saturday in November.
The town comes alive with entertainment, market stalls, local charities, independent businesses, delicious food and festive fun for all ages. The day culminates in our popular Lantern Parade before the magical moment when the Christmas lights are switched on at 5:00pm, marking the start of the festive season in Newport Pagnell.
It's a day that brings our whole community together and one we look forward to every year.
Everything we do is made possible by volunteers, local businesses, schools, performers, community groups and supporters who generously give their time, skills and support throughout the year.
Newport Pagnell Christmas Lights belongs to the community, and we're incredibly proud of everyone who helps make it happen.
There are many ways you can help keep Newport Pagnell shining.
Whether you choose to Sponsor a Bulb, support us through our fundraising activities or simply help spread the word about what we do, every contribution helps us continue this much-loved tradition for future generations.
Would you like to be part of the team behind the lights?
We're always looking for friendly volunteers to help throughout the year, whether it's assisting at events, fundraising, helping with preparations or supporting our annual Switch On.
Whether you can spare a few hours or become part of the team all year round, we'd love to hear from you.
