Fifth Meeting of the Quaker Spirit Facilities Improvement Committee
On February 5th, the Facilities Improvement Committee reconvened for their fifth session. A major topic of conversation for this meeting was to better understand the committees preference of where 6th grade should located in the new facility plans. Attendees broke out into small groups to discuss the “pros and cons” of including this grade as a part of an elementary school or as attached to a new MS/HS school. This will impact the overall footprint of any new or renovated school.

Future sessions will finalize the site decisions, determine additional "locally funded initiatives" and understand potential segmentation options.
The next session is February 21st, at the Board of Education building at 6:30pm. These are open to all community members and we encourage you to attend and provide input.
