Although AI tools played an important role throughout the workflow, the final design decisions remained under my control as the designer. At each stage, I evaluated the relevance, quality, and practicality of the AI-generated outputs before deciding whether to adopt, modify, or reject them.
During the concept generation stage, I selected ChatGPT's response because it provided the clearest architectural narrative and design direction. In the visual exploration stage, I refined the prompts to improve the realism of the generated images and chose the outputs that best represented the project vision. Through the CTA comparison, I combined the strongest aspects of different AI systems while rejecting ideas that were unrealistic or lacked architectural clarity.
In the building performance analysis stage, I evaluated the recommendations provided by AI and focused on strategies that were suitable for a tropical climate. Finally, during the design refinement stage, I adopted sustainable features such as smart glass, sky gardens, natural ventilation, and rainwater harvesting while ensuring that the original concept of the Vertical Glass Tower of Dreams was preserved.
This workflow demonstrates that AI can support creativity, analysis, and design development, but architects remain responsible for critical thinking, decision-making, and the final design outcome.
