Foothills Repetition Management

General Concept: Count Up then Down when doing repetitive tasks so that you Feel like you’ve made it to the peak and then are heading downhill. It’s easier to go downhill instead of up.

Example: When doing pushups, count up to 5 then down to 0 (1,2,3,4,5,4,3,2,1,0). You’ve effectively done 10 pushups, but it Feels easier because half of it was downhill. Remember to count to Zero to get all of your reps.

Yes, this is all psychological, but that’s exactly why it’s useful. It’s hacking your brain to accomplish something in an easier way.
