Ball 1
Juggling Window: Your juggle should remain mainly in the pane.
Bend your arms at a 90 degree angle with your hands straight out in front of you (Starting Position). Your hands are now at the bottom corners of the window. Move your hands straight up until they are just higher than your head. Your hands are now at the top corners of the window. (Blue Rectangle)
You will alternate throwing through the middle up to the opposite top corner. If you throw correctly, your catching hand shouldn't need to move much.
Hold the ball in one hand. Scoop down and up through the middle throwing to the opposite corner. Catch. Repeat with the hand that now has the ball.
Things to think about
What's right?
height? throwing motion? direction?
What's wrong?
height? throwing motion? direction?
How do I Do Better?
height? throwing motion? direction?
Note: Higher throws give you more time, but are less accurate. Lower throws are more accurate, but give you less time. As your accuracy increases your throws won't need to be as high. Keep throws just above your head until you learn to juggle 3 balls. Then you can experiment with different heights.
