SATURDAY RECAP (SEPT. 5):

Yesterday was really nice, though gusty.

While I was there we had eight pilots flying.

Tim Burns had his Slo Ultra Stick and a Sonic, both glow powered.

Tom Wensley flew his Gloster Gladiator and F 16 ducted fan jet.

Frank Leadem had his big PA 18 Super Cub up numerous times.

Bob Ernst brought his L 39 & F9F Cougar ducted fan jets, along with his heli.

Clay Landry also had a Sonic and maddened his Kadet Senior, also all glow powered.

Tom Purner flew his OMP Hobbies heli.

I flew my new AeroScout.

Dave and Martha Demick arrived later and Dave had his AeroScout up, too.

Mark Holbrook arrived even later to retrieve his RV trailer for the trip to the NEAT Fair.  Our weather station uses his Star Link to broadcast its signal, so we won't have our airfield weather conditions available until his return.

This Wednesday we'll hold our September Club meeting at the airfield at 6:30PM. 

Even though we had our last "official" Training Night last Wednesday, if you request some training time I'm sure our instructors would accommodate you.
