How to find Your Gas Dryer Problem with No Tools or Experience
Go to the very front of the clothes dryer, if you look down at the bottom front you will see a little square, or a large panel that you can open, allowing you to look inside. Turn the dryer on like normal, then get down and look through the opening, wait about 10 to 30 secs…
Look For Orange / Red Glow
You should then see a glowing red orb inside, the red orb is your glow igniter. By doing this test it will narrow down the possibilities of why our dryer won't heat anymore.
Dryer Glow Igniter Glows: No Light
If the dryer glow igniter glows but does not light.
Change:

High Limit Thermostat
Flame Sensor
Dryer Glow Igniter Does Not Glow: Doesn’t Not Light
If your dryers glow igniter does not glow after about 1 minute.
Change:
Thermal Fuse
High Limit Thermostat
Glow Igniter
Timer / Control Board
Dryer Glow Igniter Glows and Lights
If the glow igniter glows, lights the fire then shuts off after a few seconds or minute
Change:

If your dryer stays silent and won't spin when you press the start button.
