Virus

By Ellen Smith

The person that I know who has the virus,

I know the whole family.

I pray and wish there was something else I COULD DO.

Normally praying is all you want to do,

But because I know the whole family,

I want to do more.

I know people get the virus and pull out of it,

But we don’t know how well they do afterwards.

Even when you see it on TV,

you are thankful for that person’s recovery. . .

But when it is someone you personally know,

You continually pray for them,

But still wish you could do more.

If you notice I have not eluded to the person’s sex or anything else
