Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is celebrated May 10th. This year, Mother’s Day was different. Our families used to meet to celebrate Mother’s Day, but this year they couldn’t do it. In the past, our families celebrated in different ways with music and eating different kinds of foods. Many children brought different and special presents for their mothers. When they met with their families, they used to do different things, and everybody was happy.

This year, Mother’s Day was different. The families couldn’t celebrate it, because something was very wrong. There was a pandemic called Coronavirus which changed everything. This sickness cancelled all plans. Many families couldn’t celebrate Mother’s Day. They couldn’t meet with their loved ones. They couldn’t visit them. Because the pandemic was dangerous for their health, they had to stay in their homes. It has been sad for many families, who couldn’t celebrate it, because they have lost their mother, who passed away due to the disease. This year Mother’s Day has been hard for the whole world.
