Challenges During the Pandemic

Many challenges are happening

with the pandemic

some of them sad

others better.

Sometimes, I miss the routine

the days when we ran to school

kids, work, everything

that made me feel like a busy mom.

Now, I’m adapting to our new reality

I feel more distancing between people

first, because it’s the rule and you need to use a mask

second, because I can’t see their smiles.

I’m looking for things that make me feel happy

things that give to my heart happiness

laughing a lot with my kids

like when I was a child.

My days are different

I’m trying to be:

creative

patient

positive

grateful

strong.

I’ve bad days like you

but I’m trying to enjoy

the moment...the present

waiting for better days for all of us

and to see your smile again.
