DEFFECT files: Contain various special effects textures and a few models.
There are a number of interesting small textures in this file and a couple models of note. The target-like texture and ball of squares on the right are used in the paraloop animation and the footprint texture is used for visitors' footprints.
This contains some graphics and models associated with boss battles (nightmares). Of note are Gulpo's fish sprites and the boss explosion model. I don't know what the model on the left is for. It's flat and is duplicated 4 times.
All of the model data in this file consists of flat squares. The images seem to be various environment textures. A few of these seem to be pictures of snow in different shapes, but it's hard to tell what they are. Some of many textures are displayed below.
DEFFECT_SS.BIN: Contains the Saturn versions of the effects found in the above files.
DENE files: These mostly contain the sprite data for Saturn Dreams enemies.
DENE_BUTFISH.BIN: Party's data
DENE_CHAM.BIN: Verol's data
DENE_CRAB.BIN: Kircle's data
DENE_CUTT.BIN: Cuttle's data
DENE_FROG.BIN: Crewle & Pole's data
DENE_FUKUROU.BIN: Hollow's data
DENE_LION.BIN: Gao's data
DENE_MANBOU.BIN: Mamu's data
DENE_PIAN.BIN: This file has pixels encoded with 16 bits. These are sprites for the Nightopian that counts up your stars in a level.
DENE_RABBIT.BIN: Snip's data
DENE_SHEEP.BIN: Shleep's data -- Seems to be upside down compared to the others
Fascinatingly, all of the enemy files except DENE_FROG.BIN include unique egg sprites different from the one found in the mepian data (DAL files) for the same nightmaren. The sprites below are ordered by the file names shown above, with the mepian egg on top and "nightmaren egg" on the bottom.
So far, we have two theories on what these could have been used for. One is of course that Nightmarens were once planned to hatch from eggs. The other is that these might have been used for mepians that only have Nightmaren parts. As there was a rumor that such mepians would have different behavior from normal (including killing nightopians they come in contact with) perhaps they would have had different egg designs as well. (Thanks to KetrinDarkDragon for sharing this info with me)
Further research into the files of the original Saturn game have revealed that each of the "Nightmaren eggs" are found in the data for those Nightmarens' specific levels. This seems to support the theory that Nightmaren were at one point intended to reproduce.
DGAMEUI3D files: The contents of these files vary, but most involve 3D models and are elements common between levels or used in menus.

This file contains a couple of sky textures, a couple of arrows (not shown) as well as Ideya Captures for the Dream Data minimaps.
This includes the rank and lap wheels that appear when returning to the Ideya Palace. A look at the textures reveals that the rank wheel's B and E sides are flipped upside down compared to the others, explaining their incorrect appearance in-game.
This contains a small triangular arrow model which is likely used as part of the gallery UI.
Contains Ideya graphics; sprites for Saturn Dreams and models for Brand New Dreams. It also includes a dark cloudy sky graphic, probably the background of the level select. In-game, the Ideya have significantly higher transparency than I used for this render.
These are the small level and lap maps that appear when checking the scores for a level in Brand New Dreams. Most of the textures came out wrong from my program, so I'm leaving these untextured. From left to right, top to bottom, these are Spring Valley, Splash Garden, Mystic Forest, Twin Seeds, Frozen Bell, Soft Museum, Stick Canyon, and Spring Valley (XMAS).
These are the small level and lap maps that appear when checking the scores for a level in Saturn Dreams. The models are identical to those shown above, but the textures differ in being comprised of many small 16-color tiles.
Contains 7 16-bit pixel images of level art for all of the levels including Spring Valley (Christmas) but excluding Twin Seeds. These are probably the backgrounds in the level select screen for the Nightopian Collection.
I had difficulty ripping this one's textures. However, the models reveal that it contains the mini Ideya palace and Ideya Captures used in the small level maps.
