STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

The National Institute of History & Democracy (NIAHD) at William & Mary has an opportunity for high schoolers who wish to further pursue their passion for historic inquiry.

NIAHD’s Pre-College Program in American History is a three-week residential experience that allows students to engage with history where it happened. Participants visit heritage sites and museums, partake in seminar discussions, dig at an archeological site, meet professionals in the field, and earn college credit.  At NIAHD, our students see, do, hear, find & make history.

Our application for Summer 2024 is now open and students currently in grades 10, 11, and 12 are welcome to apply. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are welcome. Tuition assistance is available by application. Feel free to share this post!  There is no application fee and financial assistance is available.

To learn more about the summer 2024 Pre-College Program, join us for a Virtual Information Session on Tuesday, February 27 at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST.

More information can be found on NIAHD’s website.
