Dr. Hang Nguyen started her career as a lecturer at University of Foreign Language Studies (UFLS) in Da Nang, Vietnam in 2010. She was awarded a New Zealand ASEAN Scholar Award in 2012 and a Victoria Doctoral Scholarship in 2018 to pursue her postgraduate studies in Applied Linguistics at Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand. Currently, she serves as the Program Director of Postgraduate Studies in ELT at the Faculty of Foreign Language Teacher Education, UFLS.
Her research interests include vocabulary acquisition & assessment, TESOL methodology & teacher education and material evaluation. She has published extensively in these areas, with her work appearing in prestigious international journals such as Language Testing, Language Teaching Research, and ITL – International Journal of Applied Linguistics.
