Privacy Policy

Restyle ("the app") is operated by NGN Consulting Corp. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how long we keep it, in plain language.
Restyle is built to keep your room photos and design history on your device by default. The one exception — sending a photo to our AI rendering partner — only happens if you turn on cloud rendering yourself. Everything below explains exactly when that line gets crossed.
1. Information we collect
Room photos you snap or upload — To generate your redesign — Leaves your device only if you enable cloud rendering (see "Cloud rendering is opt-in" below)
Design history (generated images, room type, style, and any notes you typed) — So your past designs appear in the app — No, stored only in the app's local database
Saved shopping items and taste preferences — To build your shopping list and learn which styles you favor — No, local only
Render credits and subscription status — To track your free renders and unlock unlimited access if you subscribe — No, local only. Google Play separately keeps its own purchase record; see section 3
Your Replicate API token, if you add one in Settings — To authenticate your own cloud-rendering requests — Sent only to Replicate, only as part of a render request you initiate
We do not collect: your name, email, location, contacts, or any device identifier for advertising. Restyle has no account system, no advertising SDK, and no analytics or tracking SDK of any kind.
The camera
Restyle does not request Android's camera permission and never accesses the camera directly. When you tap "Camera" in the app, it hands off to your phone's own camera app, which returns a single photo file to Restyle after you take it. We never see anything the camera captures beyond that one photo you chose to keep.
2. Cloud rendering is opt-in
By default, Restyle generates redesigns entirely on your device using a built-in style engine. Your room photo never leaves your phone in this mode.
If you paste your own Replicate API token into Settings, Restyle switches to cloud rendering: the photo for that specific design, along with your chosen style and any text you typed, is sent to Replicate (a third-party AI hosting service you are choosing to use with your own account) to generate a higher-fidelity result. This only happens for designs you create after adding a token, and only while a token is present. Remove the token in Settings at any time to go back to on-device rendering.
Your Replicate account, your data relationship. When cloud rendering is on, you are also subject to Replicate's own privacy policy and terms for the images you send through your token. We don't control how Replicate or the underlying model provider it routes to retains that data — check Replicate's policy if that matters to you.
3. Who we share it with
Replicate — Receives a room photo, style choice, and text prompt, only for a design you generate while cloud rendering is on — Purpose: AI image generation
Google Play Billing — Receives your purchase and subscription transactions — Purpose: Processing payments. We never see your payment details — Google Play handles those directly
That is the complete list. We do not sell your data, and we do not share anything for advertising — there is no advertising SDK in this app to share it with.
Tapping a "Shop" link opens a retailer's page (such as Amazon or Wayfair) in your browser. That is just a link-out; Restyle does not send the retailer any information about you, and anything that happens on the retailer's site is covered by their own privacy policy, not this one. Some of these links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy something — at no extra cost to you.
We may also disclose information if legally required to, or where necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights. If our business is ever sold or transferred, your data may transfer with it.
4. How long we keep things, and how to delete them
Room photos, design history, saved items, taste preferences, credits, Replicate token — Kept on your device until you delete a design in the app or uninstall Restyle
Photos sent to Replicate for a cloud render — Not retained by us at all — retention on Replicate's side is governed by Replicate's own policy, not ours
Purchase/subscription records — Held by Google Play under Google's own retention policy; we do not separately store your payment history
Because Restyle has no account and no server-side database of your content, there is nothing for us to delete on request — uninstalling the app permanently deletes all of your design history, saved items, and settings. You can also delete individual designs from within the app at any time (open a design and use the delete option), which removes that design and its shopping bookmarks immediately.
To manage or cancel a subscription, or to review your purchase history, use Google Play's own subscription management (Play Store app → Menu → Payments & subscriptions).
5. Security
Your design history and settings are stored in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps by default. Any request Restyle makes — to Replicate for a cloud render, or to a retailer's shop link — travels over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). No system is perfectly secure, but Restyle keeps its attack surface small on purpose: no account to compromise, no server of ours holding your photos.
6. Children
Restyle is not intended for anyone under 13, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Because the app has no account system, we have no way to knowingly collect anything from a child in the first place.
7. International users
We operate from the United States. If you enable cloud rendering, your photo is processed by Replicate's infrastructure, which may be located outside your country. If you use Restyle from outside the US, be aware that data you choose to send off-device may be processed in the US or elsewhere, where data protection law may differ from your own.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export data about you. For Restyle, that data lives on your device and is already fully under your control through the app itself and your device settings. If you have a question we haven't answered here, email us at the address below and we will help.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use Restyle after a material change means you accept the updated policy.
