Financial data remains on your device exclusively. Budget information entered is stored only locally in an encrypted database and never uploaded to developers or servers. The app lacks user accounts and backend infrastructure, preventing developer access to your data. However, ad display involves limited Google data sharing as detailed below.
All financial information—income, bills, budgets, categories, savings goals, sinking funds, debts, accounts, net worth, real estate, businesses, trading and retirement records—is stored only on your device in an encrypted local database (SQLCipher / AES-256). This information is not transmitted to the developer, uploaded to any server or cloud account, shared with third parties, or accessible to the developer. Because the encryption key is unique to your device, this data is excluded from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. You can optionally export your data to a backup file yourself (in Settings, under Backup & Restore) to move it to a new device; that file is a plain, unencrypted copy that you control. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes the on-device database.
The app displays ads using Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following with Google and its advertising partners:
Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
IP address (used by Google for approximate, IP-based location and fraud prevention)
General device information (e.g. device model, OS version, language, screen size)
Ad-interaction data (ad impressions and clicks)
AdMob does not receive any of the financial data you enter into the app. By default, ads may be personalized. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads), and EU/UK/Swiss users are shown a consent choice. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Subscribing to Premium removes ads.
We process different categories of data on different legal grounds. Your financial data (income, bills, budgets, accounts, debts, investments) stays encrypted on your device and is never transmitted to us — for the app's core budgeting functionality, this is processing necessary to perform the service you've installed the app to provide. Data shared with Google AdMob for advertising (device advertising ID, IP address, general device information) is processed on the basis of your consent, collected through the consent form shown to EEA, UK, and Swiss users before any ad request is made; you can withdraw that consent at any time via Settings → Manage ad consent. Purchase data for Premium subscriptions is processed by Google Play as the payment processor under its own terms, on the basis of performing that purchase contract.
Investment prices are entered manually by you and stored only on your device. The app does not fetch live market data, so no information about your holdings ever leaves your device.
The app has no login, no user accounts, and no first-party analytics or tracking. We do not build a profile of you.
The app is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. As described in sections 1 and 5, the developer does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. Because the app displays third-party ads, it is not appropriate for children.
Delete your data: uninstall the app to permanently delete your encrypted on-device database.
Advertising: reset/limit your advertising ID in device settings; manage consent via the prompt shown to EU/UK/Swiss users.
GDPR / CCPA-CPRA: because the developer does not collect or store your personal data, most data-subject requests concerning in-app financial data are satisfied by uninstalling. On-device data is encrypted at rest (AES-256). Network requests made by the advertising SDK use encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. The app can require biometric or device-credential unlock and blocks screenshots of financial content.
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected in the app's Privacy screen.
