Importing Audio
Prior to importing any audio file, be sure to trim, normalize, and convert the bit rate of the audio file.
Only bit rates of 192kbps, 256kbps (MP3), or 1411kbps (Wav) are acceptable.
NOTE: Any files not named prior to import will be given a cart number in the 90000s, along with any information included in the MP3 ID3 tag.
Import audio via the Import Audio Folder
New Wave software must be open.
Open Import Audio folder located at C:>New~Wave>Import Audio
Drag and drop up to 20 audio files into the folder
Wait for the files to disappear (approximately 30 seconds) from the Import audio folder
The files are automatically moved to the C:>New~Wave>Library folder for use
Naming Audio Files Prior to Importing Them
The cart number of audio files can be named prior to importing them into the library.
If the cart number already exists in the library, it will overwrite the pre-existing cart. This is handy for importing reoccurring carts, such as news, weather, and programs.
The files are named as follows
cart number + filename .ext
For example: 10000+Joe Schmoes Bakery.mp3
Import audio via the Library folder
Open the Library folder located at C:>New~Wave>Library
Drag and drop audio files into the Library folder
In New~Wave, open the Library Manager.
Click on Load Library button
