Cartno Field

• Cart number can be up to 8 alpha-numeric characters

• Do NOT use symbols or spaces

• Audio files are places in the 90000 cart # range if not assigned a cart number prior to import

Title/Text(Artist)/Album

• Artist & title information will be placed in the audio file name, as long as the file has an MP3 file with ID3 tag data containing this information

• Avoid use of symbols in these fields

Type

TYPE allows New~Wave to generate reports for BMI and Spot logs, & is essential for the Library information to sort properly. 

• All Songs must be marked as type M for Music

• All Commercials must be marked type S for Spot

• Any other type may be used as well for sorting purposes, such as J for Jingle, N for News, etc

Length

Will be imported automatically as seen by Windows.

Place Songs into Categories

• Click to select a song.

• Change file to type M, if not M already.

• In Music Cat drop down menu, click on the desired category.

• Press Save
