We've heard your feedback! The Tuckshop will now be providing a rotating menu of breakfast specials and afternoon tea for OSHC students. Our amazing OSHC Educators have been hard at work over the last few years, taking on the daunting task of feeding up to 150 hungry stomachs each day with limited kitchen facilities, all while carefully managing allergies. We truly can't thank them enough for their incredible dedication and the opportunity to further hone their educational and programming skills.
How the Term Time Menu Works:
The new OSHC Term Time Menu will feature ten (10) afternoon tea options and two (2) breakfast specials across the 10 week term.
Portion Control: Meals are portioned appropriately to ensure students are satisfied for the afternoon but still have plenty of room for dinner at home.
Dietary Needs: We have designed the menu to cater to as many dietary needs as possible. Based on our existing dietary registry, we have ensured that at least one (1) meal per week caters to your child's specific needs.
The Rotation: The menu is split into two blocks. The first block (one breakfast special and five afternoon tea options) will run until mid term, at which point the second block will take over.
Fair Scheduling: Menu items are staggered each week to ensure every meal is available at least once on each weekday. If your child only attends on specific days, they won't miss out on their favourites!
Standard Breakfast Options: Fresh fruit, cereals and sandwiches will remain available daily. Please view the attached menu schedule for full details.
Cost: This revamped afternoon tea service comes at no additional cost to families and is fully covered by your standard OSHC Fee.
Looking Ahead: September Vacation Care
The integration doesn't stop with term time! We are also cooking up some exciting additions for the upcoming September Holidays:
Vacation Care Lunch Orders: Families will soon have the ability to order lunch for their children on Vacation Care days directly via School24.
Excursion Lunch Packs: Students heading out on excursions will be able to order specialized, travel-friendly lunch packs.
Please note: Lunch orders and excursion packs will be an opt-in service and are not covered by the standard OSHC fee.
