Download & Login: Download the My Family Lounge App and login using your details created on the My Family Lounge desktop website.
Bookings: Once you have logged in, click on “Bookings”.
Choose Child/Room: Select the child you are booking for. Select the session you wish to book for: After School Care, Before School Care or Vacation Care
Select Date: View the calendar. Click on the date you want to make a casual booking.
Create Booking: Click on the desired day, review the terms and conditions, and press Create Booking.
Confirm: The day will turn purple in the app, indicating it is booked.
Select Date: Click on the session you wish to mark your child absent for. Click on “Mark Absent”.
Confirm: Once you have marked your child absent, the date will turn from purple to orange.
Log in to My Family Lounge: Access the portal on a desktop or laptop (recommended).
Access Booking Requests: Scroll down to find the "Booking Requests" section.
Create a New Request: Click on "New Request".
Select Child and Type: Select the child’s name and the type of care (e.g., LDC, BSC, ASC).
Enter Booking Details: Complete the required fields, including the desired start date, preferred days, and any comments.
Submit Request: Save/submit the request, you should receive an email confirming a waitlist request. It will appear as a "pending" request for the service to review.
Important Notes for Permanent Bookings
Offer Acceptance: Once the service reviews your request and confirms availability, they will send an offer via email. You must log back into My Family Lounge to view and accept the offer for the booking to be secured.
Enrolment Form First: You cannot secure a permanent booking until the full enrolment form is submitted and accepted by the service.
Changes/Notice: Any changes to existing permanent bookings must be made through QK Enrol, requiring two (2) weeks' notice.
App Usage: The My Family Lounge app is best for casual bookings, while permanent booking changes are best handled via the website on a desktop.
Availability: Casual days can only be booked where vacancies exist (green days).
Absences: Use the app to mark your child as absent if they cannot attend a booked day.
Cancellations: If you need to cancel a booking, please email 5 days prior to the beginning of the session at bookings@newmarketoshc.com.au. For BSC sessions, please cancel 5 days prior by 6:30am. For ASC sessions, please cancel 5 days prior by 3pm.
