Journal Prompt

There is a stranger outside your house. He is old, ragged, and dirty. He is tired. He has been wandering, homeless, for a long time, perhaps many years. You do not know his name. He may be a thief. He may be a murderer. He may be a god. If he is a god, and you reject him, you could be punished for eternity. If he is a murderer, and you let him in, you could be killed. 

Do you invite him inside? Why or why not?
