Tie-breaking algorithm

Here's how we adjudicate a tie:

  1. The candidate who correctly predicted the NephroWorldCup champion wins the tie

  • If both candidates have correctly predicted the champion, then

  1. The candidate who correctly predicted the NephroWorldCup second place team wins the tie

  • If both candidates have correctly predicted the second place team, then

  1. The candidate who correctly predicted the NephroWorldCup third place team wins the tie

  • If both candidates have correctly predicted the third place team, then

  1. The candidate who correctly picked the most teams in the final round (in any order) wins the tie

  • If both candidates selected the same teams in the final round (in any order), then

  1. The candidate who played in a previous NephroWorldCup Tournament wins the tie

  • If both candidates played in a previous NephroWorldCup Tournament, then

  1. The candidate who registered first (date, hour, minute, second) wins the tie
