Course Overview
This self-paced course, along with the Inter-rater Reliability (IRR) materials, is designed to support administrators and teachers in their understanding of the Nevada Educator Performance Framework (NEPF) Teacher Instructional Practice Standards and Indicators. The intent of each section is to gain greater consistency in scoring by recording precise and accurate evidence for each Standard/Indicator and aligning recorded notes to master notes. Participants will engage in activities to strengthen their understanding of the Standards by reviewing selected vignettes/videos, practicing the recording of evidence, and comparing their recorded evidence to the NEPF Master Notes. The grade level of a vignette or video should not be a factor in viewing a specific observation as the intent is to gain an understanding of the evidence of each Standard/Indicator. There are, however, two separate courses available to improve inter-rater reliability: elementary and secondary.
