Quick POCUS views obtained at the referral center. This view is a Apical 4 Chamber view outlining significant LV systolic dysfunction. There is hypokinesis of the septum with some subjective paradoxical motion.
A5C with colour outlining that there is flow originating below the aortic valve and going through the LV outflow tract. This is an important view in significant LV systolic dysfunction to rule out LVOT obstruction from an obstruction at the LVOT.
Evaluation in the arch to rule out coarctation or arch obstruction. Patients with later cardiovascular collapse should always be evaluated for ductal-dependent systemic circulatory lesions.
