This page provides the official policy and standardized procedures for the conduct of online classes under the National Capital Region Training Center (NCRTC).
It serves as the reference for all instructors, academic support staff, and students of Online Mandatory Leadership Course.
All students are required to read, understand, and strictly follow these guidelines to maintain academic integrity, professional decorum, and instructional effectiveness in the virtual learning environment.
A. Class Schedule and Attendance
Classes shall follow the official academic calendar and published weekly training schedules.
Attendance is monitored through:
login record at least 15 minutes before start of class
camera presence during synchronous sessions
completion of required activities
Students must login to Zoom early to address technical issues before class begins.
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late without prior notice may be marked ABSENT.
B. Platform and Access
Classes shall be conducted via the Training Center’s designated video conferencing platforms.
Students are responsible for ensuring stable internet connectivity and access to required device/s.
C. Instructional Delivery
Faculty shall employ a mix of synchronous and asynchronous methods aligned to course outcomes.
Instructors shall moderate to ensure respectful & inclusive learning.
Recorded sessions shall be made available to students with valid circumstances.
In system outages / emergencies, instructor shall implement proper contingency measures.
D. Classroom Decorum
Professional conduct is required at all times.
Students must be in “Tamang Bihis” with ID in the virtual classroom.
Cameras must remain ON and microphones on MUTE unless recognized by the instructor.
Only the Zoom window should remain open during class.
No disruptive behavior — irresponsible chat use, gestures, noise will not be tolerated.
Students must stay in a quiet, well-lit environment conducive to learning.
Official NCRTC virtual background is required unless otherwise instructed.
E. Technical Support and Contingency
Students are responsible for troubleshooting personal device issues.
NCRTC will provide technical support for platform-related concerns.
Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in issuance of demerits and/or written warning.
