The Request for Pass system in the online Leadership Course of the National Capital Region Training Center (NCRTC) is important because it provides a formal and documented process whenever a student cannot attend an online class, activity, or scheduled virtual session. This ensures that absences are properly recorded, reported, and justified through an official channel.
Only the actual date of a court hearing or similar occasion requiring the student’s personal appearance or participation on orders of a competent authority shall be considered as an authorized and non-deductible absence. This guideline ensures that only valid, verified, and legally-required circumstances are granted as excusable without deduction, even in an online setup.
Clearance
A clearance is issued to students as a required step prior to graduation. This ensures that all course, academic, and administrative obligations have been completed. All trainees/ students must accomplish this requirement before they can be officially cleared for graduation and certification.
***To ensure an orderly and efficient process, the class secretary shall be responsible for collecting and submitting all completed clearances for the class. Each clearance must have the trainee’s complete name and photograph properly attached. All clearances shall be compiled in a single folder, with a printed cover clearly indicating the course title, batch number, and class designation (e.g., PSOCC 2025-01 Alpha). ***
