Animal Cracker in Water
Animal Cracker in Water
The "Animal Cracker in Water" experiment was the first of its kind. After nine months (July-April) it was discovered that an animal cracker in water does in fact disintegrate. On April 2, 2018 this experiment was concluded.
In November of 2016 a Mason Jar was filled with alcohol and three objects, a plastic baby, a peace of paper, and a "Jolly Rancher" candy. After over a year of observation, SAT concluded that the baby and the paper had no visible change, while the Jolly Rancher became a lighter color and stuck to the glass. In March 2018, the jar used in SAT's first experiment was made into a Bamboo planter in front of the Nation Aquarium.
