I will implement legislation that United States Veterans and Disabled by 60% or more that live in Maine will not have to pay State, City, or Town taxes. The fact that currently disabled Veterans and Veterans only get a percentage taken off their city, and town taxes. I would like to make this for all States as well, so I will create legislation for it. When receiving compensation and Pension, and taking that money away from the Veteran hurts them by taking the money away they were planning to use for bills and food. You need to remember not everyone can work, and you do not have the right to assume someone is not disabled by the way they look.
I will enact legislation to help protect U.S. Veterans who have been raped during their service and were ignored, blamed, and harassed for being a victim. I will make it so that their perpatrator will not have access to their records, and are not able to commincate with them in any way. I will create jobs for the men and women who have been subjected to rape and kicked out of the military, so they can continue serving their nation without fear or intimidation. I will call this the "Blue Act".
For military veterans who use the Dishcharge Review Board for any reason. I will make it a law that if the Discharge Review Board allows your family access to your records without your permission; and allows your family to be at the Discharge Review Board without your permission will be held accountable and fired. Your family doesn't know what the situation was, or what was going through mind after you may have been victimised in some way or another, so when they see everything, they only have an opinion and not the facts. This is a violation HIPPA laws "Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act". For The Discharge Review Board to allow your family access, and to purposely to intentional infliction of emotional distress, and harass; and or try to get the victim to meet up with a foreign aggressor who has been trying to murder them; all parties who hurt the victim will be held accountable, fined, and placed in prison for up to five years if that is necessary. I will call this "The Romanov Windsor Act."
LGBTQ who have either lost their job and or have been subject to discrimination while being in the U.S. military will be offered jobs to continue working for their country under The Blue Act.
