My research focuses on understanding the emergence of the early gender wage gap in the labor market and the role of social norms in shaping the career choices of men and women. I am also interested in the short - and long- term effects of affirmative action policies.
In previous work, I have studied how monetary and non-monetary incentives interact with individual preference heterogeneity. I mainly use experimental methods to explore these questions.
