BEEN

When I returned to Italy after my research experience in Sweden and Denmark, I realized that one of the aspects I valued most in the Scandinavian research environment was the existence of vibrant networks connecting researchers working in behavioral and experimental economics.

Inspired by those experiences, I launched the BEEN (Behavioral Economics Experimental Network) with the aim of creating a similar community in Italy: a network where researchers can regularly exchange ideas, present ongoing work, foster collaborations, and support early-career scholars.

Since its creation, BEEN has grown into a large and active network involving researchers from many Italian and international institutions. The network regularly organizes seminars, workshops, and meetings that promote collaboration in behavioral and experimental economics.
