Information about obtaining CE credits
The 2023 meeting of the North American Chapter of the Society for Psychotherapy Research (NASPR) is pleased to offer Continuing Education (CE) credits through the Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy, American Psychological Association (APA) Division 29. The Society is approved by the APA to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Society maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
CE credits are granted to registrants with documented attendance at eligible sessions, as indicated on the scientific program. Attendance is monitored. Credit will not be granted to registrants who are more than 15 minutes late to a session, are absent for more than 15 minutes during a session, or who depart more than 15 minutes early from a session. Registrants must also submit a completed online evaluation form for each session attended in order to receive CE credit for that session. It is the responsibility of registrants to comply with these requirements. It is also the responsibility of the registrant to determine whether these CE credits are valid in their state of licensure.
For the 2023 NASPR meeting, CE Credits are included in your base conference registration fee. If you wish to participate, please request a CE Passport at the registration desk. This booklet lists all sessions offering CE credits and will be used to mark your attendance and the associated credit for a given session. At the close of the conference, please submit this booklet to a staff member at the registration desk who will verify and sign the form. Also, please complete the aforementioned evaluation form for a given session you attended by scanning the unique QR code on the Passport (these codes are also located on the “Continuing Education” page of the conference website). In order to ensure timely processing, online CE evaluations must be completed by 5:00pm EDT on October 18, 2023. Credits cannot be provided for any session that is missing an online CE session evaluation, even if the CE Passport information has been provided.
The Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy is proud to sponsor CE credits for NASPR and encourages conference attendees to consider membership in the Society, given its shared interests in the research, teaching, and practice of psychotherapy.
