Elections

President-Elect, At-Large Directors and Secretary

The members of the Association shall elect the President-Elect, At-Large Directors and Secretary by a simple majority of those members who vote. All terms of office begin on  the first day of the association’s fiscal year. 

4.2.1 The President-Elect  (shall not serve more than one term)

         Year One President-Elect

         Year Two President

         Year Three Past-president

4.2.2 At Large Directors

Each Director shall serve a term three years in length. (shall not serve more than two terms)

4.2.3 Secretary

Secretary shall serve a term three years in length (shall not serve more than two terms)

General Timeline

• Announce at Annual Conference

• March--Call goes out for elected positions (2025 Example).

• Late April--Nominations due; names provided to President.

• Late April--Nominees contacted by President to confirm desire to run.

• Early May--Nominess sumit bios and pics for ballot.

• Early May--Ballot created.

• Early May--Emails created for membership that will contain ballot links.

• Mid May--Ballots go out.

• Late May--Voting closes.

• Early June--Results announced.

• July 1--Term begins.
