Mr. Waseem Ul Haq hails from Village Kalaban, Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir. Currently he is Pursuing Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Santanu Ghosh. Currently working on ' Nanostructured materials for nuclear reactor application'. He completed his Masters in Physics from Central University of Haryana and graduation from Govt. Degree College Mendhar, Poonch under Jammu University. Qualifying CSIR-UGC, NET-JRF, December 2016 in Physical Sciences is one among his notable achievements. During his college days he got First prize in Seminar competition organized by the Deptt. of Mathematical Sciences, BGSB University Rajouri, on 26th of Oct. 2013, Under the banner of “3rd BABA GHULAM SHAH BADSHAH STUDENTS MATHEMATICS CONFERENCE”. And also hold First Position in “Poster/ Quiz competition” held on 28th Feb. 2016 (National Science Day) on the theme “ Physics is the Smart Choice for Smart Cities” organized by Central University of Haryana, Mahendergarh Haryana awarded by Hon’ble CM of Haryana Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar. In 2019 he got selected as an Assistant professor in Higher Education Department Jammu & Kashmir, India.

He is an enthusiastic research scholar and also remained active participant in co-curricular activities with stage conducting as a main; and singing, debate, poetry, NSS- Volunteer etc.
