Om Prakash hails from village AKLA in Nagaur district, Rajasthan, India. He has completed his Bachelor of Science from JNV University Jodhpur in 2016 and Master of Science (Physics) in 2018 from LMCST Jodhpur. He has been awarded CSIR NET-JRF with AIR-80 in 2019, also Qualified GATE exam 2019. Now he is working as Doctoral research fellow in the department of Physics, IIT Delhi, Delhi, India from January 2021 under the supervision of Prof. Santanu Ghosh. and Dr. Udaibhan Singh. He is an enthusiastic researcher in the field of condensed matter physics. His research areas include thin film growth, characterization and ion irradiation for Plasmonic and SERS applications.
