StellarXplorers is a space-based academic competition that utilizes simulations via the STK computer program to solve real-world problems. The team is dedicated to solving long scenarios about every two weeks with the intention of winning the final competition. Making it to national finals allows STX cadets to get a fully paid trip to a national location to compete with the rest of the national finalists. 1st place gets $3000 per person 2nd $2000 and 3rd $1000 (As of 2020). Anyone is able to join our StellarXplorers team. There are no specific requirements, but members are expected to attend weekly meetings. Although prior STK and orbital mechanics knowledge is beneficial, it is not required. All necessary information will be taught by the StellarXplorers commander and veteran members.
