Honor Guard

What is Honor Guard?

The Honor Guard team is comprised of a few cadets that demonstrate dedication and professionalism in JROTC. These cadets are the face of the corps, and they are awarded with their own Honor Guard uniforms. It is an honor to serve on this team, and many cadets have enjoyed their experiences in this program.

What do we do?

The Honor Guard presents the National Colors and performs POW/MIA ceremonies. The team performs both publicly and for school events. Some examples of where the team has performed include football games, military balls, awards banquets, Veterans Day assemblies at middle schools, and events like the Great Race. Honor Guard gives cadets the opportunity to improve their performance skills while learning about military ceremonies and customs.
