Main objectives: Development and interpretation of dendroanatomical chronologies from the cedar trees of Duparquet lake

Description: This group will operate in coordination with the dendroclimatology group and will be dedicated to the development and interpretation of chronologies of anatomical traits from the famous cedar trees of Duparquet lake:

The chronologies will be used to analyze the climate imprint on the cedars and develop climate reconstructions.

Skills you will acquire:

• Sample preparation for microtomy and microscopy

• Measurement of tracheid’s traits

• Ecophysiological and climatic interpretations
