The Nacirema believe that they should cast evil souls into the dark abyss by doing a peculiar ritual. They use special equipment to maximize how far to hit it. It is a tradition that started a long time ago and the best evil casters get rare materials to get better equipment for their secret rituals.
While I was with the majestic Nacirema with their all-mighty presence, I learned about a peculiar ritual to get rid of evil souls and betrayal. The goal of this ritual was to cast away evil souls into the forbidden cup of sacred purification. The first things the Nacirema would do was using purification sticks. Now, these weren’t your usual sticks. They were specially crafted to maximize a casters potential. The game lasted around four hours of their day, so they would need to be dedicated. The caster would do the ritual depending on the circumstances. For example, if a casters evil spirit was fighting the caster and made a disturbance in the casters ritual, then the caster would change up the ritual to counter the newfound threat.
Once the caster started the ritual, everybody stopped what they were doing and became quiet while it happened because most have not seen this one of a kind ritual before. It was a two step ritual where first they would swing their purification stick in an arcing motion around their body and then “release”. And when I say release, I meant an explosion that reached out to the farthest depths of the cosmos, rumbled a sign to the gods, showing inner power and being the selected few with the gift. There are also big gatherings where people with the gift (casters chosen by the gods) compete to see who could cast away the most evil spirits.
The winners of these casting competitions get rare and mysterious materials to get better equipment and everybody celebrates. This is a mandatory material to use on better equipment that is not very well known.
The Nacirema people have done this tradition from the 15 century up till today and still do this. They believe that by doing this tradition it will prevent evil souls from following a path of dread, betrayal, and death. Who knows how these Nacirema people could last this tedious tradition for so many years.

The Nacirema people, who live north of the Tarahumara people of Mexico, have many interesting beliefs and rituals. One of their beliefs is that you should get exercise and have fun and the only way to do that is to do rituals and ceremonies and dances.
The one main rule of the Nacirema is that they can’t use their hands except for the tribe leaders. If a person disrespects the rules then they can not participate for a whole week and if you get this punishment then you would be frowned upon. One of the Nacirema's dances involves them running with an orb made out of animal skin and then moving side to side with special shoes on. Then they use their special shoes to hit the ball at the tribe leader all while making a special noise. If the tribe leader can’t get the ball then the person that hit the ball would do another secret dance. The Nacirema also like to play with others and they would have as many as 22 people playing at once all with special shoes and garments made out of animal skin, when they would play they would use their special shoes to hit the ball to each other and that person would start doing the secret dance mentioned earlier. Another one of the dances that the Nacirema do is they take the orb made out of animal skin and run with it and when they get close to the tribe leader then they hit it into the middle.
In conclusion the Nacirema like getting exercise and having fun and the only way to do that is to do rituals and ceremonies and dances. How have the Nacirema been able to keep up with these rituals and ceremonies and dances?

The Nacirema have battles every moon, and they battle to catch a little flying orb, and whoever catches it has the one opportunity to destroy anyone who he touches with the orb.
They believe that if they don’t have these wars, the stories in the other Clan will describe them as weak and insignificant as rivals. These wars are a show of power. If the Clans are not doing anything to contribute, they are forced to train for the upcoming battle.
The Clan leader chooses kids who are older than 4 years to be apprentices of three different warriors. The younger kids are forced to watch with the rest of their Clan.
The one who causes the orb to take flight will run as soon as his club hits the orb and try to touch the little white stones in the corners of the battlefield. The father is always the one to bring them to the battles. Once they learn the art, they love it, and they don’t want to stop doing it.
Every moon, the Nacirema have wars to catch a flying orb. If one catches it, they can obliterate anyone who he touches with it. I don’t know how they have survived for so long when they kill each other every moon.

The Nacirema tribe, who live just north of the Tarahumara people, is a collection of people and entities who practice many rituals. The Nacirema, to protect themselves from the dangers of being unable to perform daily tasks, provide and put themselves through many tortures, but one specific one is most popular as it appears lately. The Nacirema believe that sacred games and rituals are critical and must be done.
First, to protect themselves from warring tribes, the tribes will shove hard pieces of material in between the front of their legs and the back of their extra tight tubes of what seems of ratty fabric. To prevent slipping on large fields, tribes will wear special boot-like objects on their feet, even though these protect the tribe members, they will cause extreme pain, almost torturous to one’s feet. Along with the painful accessories the Nacirema already wear, they cover themselves in unflattering fabric with bright colors that supposedly prevent the sun. Most of the attire they wear is somewhat significant to what they are competing in, besides the fact they look extremely bright, they have a purpose. All of these garments protect the tribe members.
Each tribe has competitors, and each tribe member has an owner, who will heavily support their tribe member. Owners will start fights with the three people who seem to control this holy game by calling out what they see as wrong, these people’s names almost directly translate to holy shouter, and on occasion, the owner who starts a fight with sacred yeller will get in trouble and almost seem to get penalized from spectating this exotic ritual of a game.
Since each tribe can’t command themselves, they are required to have some sort of a director, also known as holy shouter. The holy shouter will demonstrate behavioral patterns like yelling at competitors to move from spot to spot, go faster, go forward, in some cases throwing down whatever they have, in anger.
All sorts of games have objectives, and this one seemed to have the goal of kicking this strange marked ball into a large opening that appears to be an intricate netting. As these tribes kick the ball around, they are either trying to prevent it going into the netted opening they seem to own for the game and try to get it into the opposing tribes netted opening.
While observing this spectacle of a ritualistic game, it shows how much the Nacirema value torturing themselves just to maintain a body and life that will last them long. The Nacirema seem to believe that if these routines aren’t performed something horrendous might happen, while staying unknowing of what it is. It’s clear to anybody aside of the Nacirema culture that this routine is beyond insane, and must strike thoughts of how this large gathering of a tribe has managed to stay alive this long.

The Nacirema believe that striving for good health and working hard is the only way for a good life. They also believe that making their elders proud is very important.
The two tribes first have an initiation and they cover their face in paint and get dressed in ritual garments. Then they walk in an enclosed shrine and there are many tribespeople in there. First two people of each group walk up to an elder who commands all, then he throws up a two-sided piece of metal with different engravings on it, and while it is in the air the two tribes people both yell out a word that is on opposite sides of the metal disc. Then when it lands in the elder’s hand, the group that called out the corresponding word gets the orb first. The two groups then line up in two rows and they do a chant and say prayers to each other.
After they are done, one tribe member of the tribe that won the metal disc holds and throws the orb over the transparent wall made of mesh and other rope. If it doesn’t make it, the other group gets one coin. Once one group collects 25 coins they win the first set of games. Then they do it again, and if the tribe that got 25 coins the first time gets them again, they win the entire ritual and they get handed many gifts and offerings. But if the other tribe got the 25 coins faster, then there would be another break. After that, there is another set of games, but this one only has 15 coins. Whichever one gets them faster gets handed all the coins, and then others will give many offerings to them. They will also be named champions and all their elders will be very proud of them.
The Nacirema spend a good amount of time practicing for this and they believe that they need to do it almost every day or they will be laughed at and frowned upon because they are not as ‘small’.
The Nacirema believe that having good friends and being healthy is very important. They also believe that they need to keep in shape or they will be shamed by their friends and family. I often wonder how they have survived long enough having to do these tasks almost every day.

The Nacirema believe that It is important to have fast reflexes and have developed a ritual that trains someone's reaction time by kicking an orb at them, they must attempt to block it with their hands.
It seems like the Nacirema highly value fast reflexes as they have a ritual that forces a person standing in a net to block a heavy orb with their hands or it will hurt them when it hits them this ritual is seemingly intended to do 2 things entertain the crowd that is watching and to improve their reflexes the more common variant of this ritual is where there are 2 sides and they are fighting for the orb when one of them gets the orb near the net they kick the orb at the person in the net and attempt to hit them with it the second variant is where the ruler of the fight who is commonly dressed in yellow or blue occasionally places the orb on the dot near the net and one of the fighters from the other team kicks the orb straight at the person in the net.
In conclusion, it is hard to imagine how the Nacirema have survived this long under these burdens they have imposed upon themselves It makes me wonder how they chose who the ones who sharpen their reflexes. And the others.

The Nacirema's love playing sports like pigskin. They play because it helps them get faster and catch stuff but the only way to do this is to practice all the different parts of football.
There are a lot of Naciermas that play Pig Skin Play, but there's something hidden about the enchanted ritual. Legend has it that if you play PigSkin Play and if the Pig skin is teleported to you, it gifts you with a Pig skin gift with a fun surprise you can cherish forever. When the Naciremas play this magical sport, they run fast, guessing where the pigskin holder teleports it. It sounds very loud, everybody shouting to teleport the ball. So the Naciremas don't get injured playing this enchanted skin; they have armor for their knees, shoulders, and heads so they don't get injured in case the magical pig skin teleports by them and hits them. A lot of Naciremas play Pigskin Play so they can get the pig skin gift but some want to play the game and have a good time.
In conclusion, Pig skin play is a fun ritual to do and so many people have so many questions about it. Like how the ball teleports, or how does the trophy grant good luck well there are so many different things in Pig skin play and it's a fun ritual to do.

The Nacirema are a civilization living in the lands South of the Naidanac people. The Nacirema believe that for children to fulfill their destiny they must participate in festivals where they run and try to kick a magical sphere. Many children will participate in one of these festivals at one point or another.
When I was in the lands of the Nacirema studying the beliefs of the natives, I observed an interesting ritual practiced by all ages of the Nacirema people. Many small children participate in this ritual at least once in their lives, and lots of children continue to participate in this ritual as they get older, and some fully grown natives still participate in this ritual.
Now, the way this festival goes is really very interesting. Two different clans of natives gather in a clearing covered in ceremonial markings. These clans are preparing to fight by gathering in a cult-like circle around their all knowing leader who chants special chants to prepare the natives for the fight. The magical judge man summons the natives’ leaders to the center of the clearing to decide who gets to start the fight at an advantage. The magical judge man dresses in ceremonial clothing, he must wear a garment that is covered in black and white stripes. Once it has been decided the leaders of the clan gather back with their all knowing leader on the edge of the clearing. Once their all knowing leader has chosen who of the clan is worthy enough to start in the battle, the first natives from each clan line up in the ceremonial starting position. The magical judge man exhales hard into the ceremonial shell that screeches, signaling the clan members to start the fight. The clan member at the top of the formation hits the ceremonial sphere to another member of their clan, and then the fight starts.
I observed how the clans speed up and slow down, based on their location in relation to the ceremonial sphere. If it is coming towards them, at the feet of another native, they might speed up in their running. The goal of this battle is to make sure the opposite clan stays away from the ceremonial mesh tent that the native clan is guarding. When in the lands of the Nacirema people I saw how they believe that to perform this ritual, the clans wear ceremonial boards on their lower legs, and it is bad luck to have these boards showing and they must be covered at all times with fiber sleeves that go on the natives' feet. At a certain point, when the clans have achieved an inner balance, the magical judge man once again exhales hard into the ceremonial shell to signal that it is time for a rest. Once the rest is over the natives come back into the clearing and keep fighting until the magical judge man tells them to stop with his ceremonial shell. The natives congratulate each other on a good fight and then disperse.
Now that is only the most serious of these gatherings, multiple times a week I observed the clans gathering in a central clearing to work on their fighting skills. To start off this preparation of sorts, the clan will gather in a circle or line and begin a series of steps that almost seem to form a dance. They continue to perform routines like this until the all knowing leader decides they are ready. The clan will finish this preparation ritual by standing in a circle and chanting a rhythmic chant.
Though there are many curious habits that this civilization harbors, this may be the strangest of all. The Nacirema people believe their children must participate in this sacred ritual to fulfill their life. It brings one to wonder how the Nacirema have managed to continue to practice this sacred festival.

The Nacirema like violent and uncivilized things for entertainment. They torture prisoners by making them wear heavy protective fibers and get tackled by each other. They are forced to tackle each other and they are forced to run. Some of them are forced to catch an oval shaped rock, some of them are even forced to kick them. There are torture masters on the sidelines who are always yelling at the prisoners. People in white and black striped t-shirts watch the game on the field. They sometimes blow their whistles round their neck and announce something.
There are tons of in person spectators, some of them have some sort of picture that the prisoners also wear. There are cameras recording this ritual for people who could not come to the event. The prisoners are sometimes given a break and allowed to drink water. Sometimes prisoners get hurt and some of the torture masters run on the field to assist the injured prisoner.
When I went to ask some of the torture masters why they do this ritual they don’t tell me, they are always yelling to a prisoner on the field. After this experience, I think that the Nacirema are very interested in violent rituals to keep them entertained. I feel bad for these prisoners, they must have done something really bad to deserve this treatment. It is a true wonder how many people keep getting torture sentences that they can keep this ritual alive.
