The Nacirema are a tribe located east of China. The Nacirema’s main belief is that time is important, and a way to conserve it is to eat unhealthy but delicious foods that are quick to gather.
The Nacirema have hundreds of these developments around their villages. All of these places contain an oil chamber where they torture something that best translates into “yellowstrips”. These yellowstrips are said to be delicious. But, they contain these white specks and if you eat too many specks it can cause something they call The Curse. The Curse is so dangerous that most tribespeople that have it don’t live through it.
Each location consists of a person they believe to have the power to control their laborers. This person’s name translates to “The Leader”. The developments all contain a magical box that is said to contain all the riches in the world. This magic box is only trusted with the people known as the Treasurers. This draws the attention of the Bandits. It is said that the Bandits contain the power to use dark magic to flood their victims with fear. This allows them to control the victims very easily.
The Nacirema believe that not going to these places could cause them to be disliked amongst their own people. The Nacirema enjoy a lot of these delicacies because they believe taste is more important than their health.
The Nacirema believe that eating yellowstrips made from unhealthy substances can lead to them having more time to spend. It is hard to believe that some people care more about taste and time than their own health.

The belief of the Nacirema is that the human body needs to be changed for one night every year. They come to people's huts and demand gifts.
The Nacirema territory is northwest of Botswana. The Nacirema do this very spiritual ritual every year for just one day. They get very scary masks and cloaks to become a new person for one night. They come to people's huts and ask for magical gifts. The Nacirema travel in groups with beasts. The people's huts are filled with magical fruits turned lifelike to keep the children knowing that they will give them more magical gifts. Children carry around spiritual based circular orbs with faces to keep no one from stealing their magical gifts. Often in front of people's enclosures are skeletons and witches and ghosts they are making creepy ritualistic sounds. The wealthier you are, the worse your house looks, just on this one night.
In summary, the Nacirema have a very strange ritualistic time every year where they transform into beasts. They come to people's huts and demand payment of very special gifts. I wonder why the Nacirema have done this for such a long time.

The Nacirema people who live in an area that is North West of Brazil have many interesting and confusing rituals. One of these rituals is consuming pure energy. They believe this is the only way to not to be punished by the god Regnuh.
The Nacirema start this ritual by finding energy for themselves and sometimes have to go into a ritual room to create the energy they need. This ritual happens at midday and during the week the children are at school and they bring their energy prepared from the ritual room. Children who didn’t bring their own go to a shrine in which the priest gives them their blessing of energy for the day. From my observations the children talk until they are up to see if they get their blessing. Another observation I made is when the kids consume their energy, and they talk and enjoy themselves.
I had asked some Nacirema about their rituals and one of them said that “If I don’t do this routine, I will suffer a curse from the god Regnuh.” They said if they stopped doing this ritual they would “Turn into a Demon.” Another Nacirema said “I would suffer from stomach pains' ' and if he stops he would have depression and anger. This shows that the Nacirema needs lots of energy.
In conclusion the Nacirema believe they need energy every day and often need to consume it in the middle of the day. How have the Nacirema been able to do this every single day even though they might not have time?

I had the once-in-a-lifetime chance to travel across the land to the home of the mysterious Nacirema. This was quite the experience that I thought I would share with all of you. The Nacirema are a very interesting group of people who believe in many strange things, but today we’re going to talk about the belief that every night they must immerse themselves into a state where they are half dead and half alive.
This ritual is believed to restore sanity and it is said that if they do not complete this ritual, they will go insane. When I interviewed the natives, a popular response I got was that if they do not perform this ritual, they will be very unproductive throughout the day and if they keep neglecting this ritual, they will be cursed with a life of misery. Another popular belief was that they do not do this ritual for long enough. I believe they think that the gods are angry at them for not staying in this state for as long as they should. I observed that people who do not complete this ritual will have markings on their faces, such as dark half-circles under their eyes, and some of them will randomly enter this state in the middle of the day. Based on how the people around them react, I don’t think they are supposed to do this ritual during the day. If I had to guess, I’d say that there is a special time to perform this ritual and those who do not complete it in that period of time are believed to be cursed by the gods.
This is only one of the many strange rituals that I observed during my time with the Nacirema. I wonder how they have managed to live with this ritual for so long, forcing your body into a state of being half dead and half alive is sure to come with some risks. The Nacirema sure are a mysterious group of people.

In the south of Canada lies a nation that needs to be inspired. To do this they run to the shrine every day, a shrine that pulls people's attention to worship boxes that will return you with trinkets. Creativeness can sometimes fill the room and when the people leave the shrine they are magically happier when they worship the shrine and are ready to come back to their daily lives.
Everyday the ancient people need to be closer to themselves, walk through the door to the shrine and get lost in thoughts. In this shrine these people look into the future to find the world's problems so that you can create solutions before they happen. Without going to the magical shrine, the people will never be happy and will be locked in sadness forever. In these ancient times the people would always rush to the shrine hoping that they would be one of the lucky fifteen people that get chosen for happiness each day. Every person expresses their happiness in different ways. An example is the tools that they create that will stick things together for a long time. Another example is taking their ancient technology to make new inventions that will make their town into really modern people today. The shrine is always loved by the ancient people and will always be loved to this day.
Over all these people prove that the shrine is a place that gives a creative flow and to be wiser about the world. These people will live together in harmony and happiness that will last a lifetime and will always be loved to this ancient tribe.

The nacirema people have many different beliefs and rituals. They live in California and we have many interesting beliefs. We really like this ritual because we get to spend time in water. The nacirema start their ritual by stepping onto the teal platform. They stand up straight and lift up and jump off the board into the holy water. The nacirema do this ritual because they really like to be in the water and they really like the adrenaline rush it gives them. When our tribe meets each other we usually walk onto the platform and jump into the holy water and we get out and go into a big holy bowl without water. We do this ritual because it helps us think and have time to just have fun. People started doing this many moons ago and it is still a ritual till today.
In conclusion they thought that blessing themselves in holy water was a very fun thing to do and it had been going on for years and they spent their time well doing something they loved. People still love doing this and it is a good sport and i'm glad people passed down the tradition.

The Nacirema people who live south of Canada, have many interesting traditions and daily practices. They believe that mixing white powder, leaves and many other substances will bring them and others joy.
When Nacirema people do this routine, they often use fire. By burning many ingredients in a metal device, they create a burning scent that trails around their house. When practicing this ritual, the nacirema people usually do things like humming extremely badly, aggressively shaking the metal device while pouring a liquid substance on top which makes a sizzling sound, and holding a sharp metal tool used to stab vegetables and meat.
Nacirema people do this tradition for enjoyment and survival. They worry that by discontinuing this tradition, they will die as well as their family. Nacirema people are generally very picky and practice this routine because they often refuse to eat food without stabbing, burning, ex.. first. Sometimes Nacirema people get very skilled at this ritual and can turn it into a career.
The Nacirema people are such interesting people and have come up with many exotic ideas. They have turned mixing substances into a skill and career and that makes me wonder how they could have survived this long with such a time-consuming task to complete every day

I went to a place that is south of Canada and I befriended a tribe called Nacirema. The Nacirema are a very peculiar tribe. They didn't want to talk about their beliefs. The children seemed very worried about what their parents would say. I will share what they have shared with me.
So the parents drop off their children at a place and an adult writes on the wall and then their parents pick them up but the children have a sack with dead trees that have writings on them and sometimes instead of dead trees they have metal rectangles that have the information that would be written on the dead trees. When the children come back to their home, their parents tell them to do what was written on the dead trees. The children get very sad because they do it. Then the next day they go to the same building and they give it to the adults that they seem disappointed with and then when they go home they show their parents the letter or number and they get very angry or very happy depending on what is written. Their parents believe that if their children don't do this that they will have a horrible life and they can't survive. Their parents punish them by taking away a small metal rectangle thing and their children seem to be very distressed about that. The children start lying to avoid their parents taking away their metal rectangles. This is no good!
The Nacirema seem to punish their children over some number or letter and seem to make their children very distressed over this.I don't know how their children have been able to keep on going after such a traumatic childhood.

The people of the island of Rat Rock, called the Nacirema believe that without the practice of hoarding objects from the gods will indignant them, as for the items of the gods are impeccable and must always be used to improve the human body from its imperfections that they believed they had in spite of everything. To cope with the Naciremia’s belief that the human body was imperfect in every way, they would accumulate simply anything from the public village supply, and sacrifice the currencies they earned from their daily grind at work for trinkets, magic potions, cleansers, anything to soothe the body from its disgraceful nature.
When I first witnessed this peculiar behavior amongst the tribe, I noticed that they would stand in lines at some strange contraptions where they would bring back the items they gathered in strange looking carts. Behind the contraptions sat a man labeled by the Nacirema as the holy trinket dealer. The contraptions had a moving conveyor belt, where the items were placed, moved down a little, and then quickly taken off. As the objects shuffled, I noticed how they were getting swiped against an aggressive red light very fast, which made a confusing *beep* sound. The objects were then placed into sacs, and from a small device, out came a white scroll of paper with text in another language specifying the objects obtained.
An event I had once caught in this process happened to be on a very specific Friday. As the Naciema flooded the building with no mercy towards each other, they started grabbing everything. Pushing and pulling commenced, often resulting in an awkward tension between the conflicted Nacirema. There were red signs with numbers and pictures EVERYWHERE which displayed objects with advertisements that you could easily get lost in. That day, the supply was left emptied.
In conclusion, I find that the Nacirema are pretty desperate for those items. I wonder how Nacirema still keeps up with this practice.
