NACC|Application for Admission
You will need to create an account.

This is the Application Dashboard.
Once you have created your account fill out your application!
You will need to request your transcripts from the high school or college you attended and have them sent electronically through Parchment or other Transcription agency to admissions@nacc.edu or they can be mailed directly to:

Once you finish your application, you will receive an email (to your personal email) stating we have received your application and it is being processed.
Next, you will receive a personalized acceptance email with lots of information you will need to get started.
Just to list a few:
Your student number that will begin with an A......... (we often refer to this number as your A#)
A checklist on things you need to do for admissions (Accessed in your Application for Admission Dashboard)
Instructions for how to set up your MyNACC account
Who your Advisor is and how to set up an Appointment with your advisor
How to set up an appointment to come do your New Student Orientation
and so much more.
Your MyNACC Account is NOT the same as your Application Dashboard. They are two different things. To setup this account you will need your A# (student number/ID). It will be in your email from Admissions.
Your MyNACC Account houses:
Canvas (your Learning Management System),
AdvisorTrac (your app to set up appointments with your advisor, tutors, career services and many other things), You will find instructions for how to do this on the AdvisorTrac Homepage when you click on the app in MyNACC
NACC Email (Microsoft Outlook)
Microsoft 365 (your free access to all thing Microsoft)
Banner SSB (your accounts for registering for classes and paying for classes, tracking your FASFA, and building a schedule).

All new students need to sign up for New Student Orientation. You can set this appointment up in AdvisorTrac once you have set up your MyNACC account.
You may also need to take the Accuplacer test to see where you need to start in your English and Math courses. You can set that appointment up in AdvisorTrac or by calling Admissions at 256-638-4418 ext 2224
Once you make an appointment to meet with your advisor on AdvisorTrac, they will help you decide which classes you need to take. Take your laptop to your meeting and they can help you go through the registration process in Banner SSB.

Click on the BANNER SSB App in your MyNACC Account
Click on Student Tab
Click on the Student Landing Page
Click Registration
Select the Term
Click Registration again
Search for Classes
Add classes
Once all your classes are added click submit

If you are taking classes on campus be sure to start attending class the first day. Your instructor has lots of important information to share with you on the first day of class.
If you are taking online class, be sure to complete the Getting Started activities and your attendance verification assignment. Access your online Courses by logging into your MyNACC account and Clicking on the Canvas APP. If you have questions about where to find that assignment contact your instructor via your NACC email or Canvas Email. It should be in the first Module in your Canvas Course.
