Do You Know How to Use Canvas?

Canvas is the learning management system that delivers course content. All courses, no matter whether they meet on campus or not have a corresponding Canvas course that includes the course syllabus, instructor contact information, and grades. Traditional (face-to-face) courses will have a Canvas course with pertinent information. Online classes will be entirely through Canvas. Hybrid courses will be accessed through Canvas plus on-campus meetings will be required.

Canvas orientation is available in the form of a video quiz located in the Canvas Resource course where all students are enrolled. To access the orientation, please visit the Canvas Resource course. If you have any questions, please contact Judith Lea @ leaj@nacc.edu.
Please notify Mrs. Lea @ leaj@nacc.edu once you have completed the orientation.
The college does not require Canvas orientations; however, individual instructors may require you attend an orientation session. Please check with your instructors for orientation requirements
This orientation is for Canvas and does not replace your course orientation which will be held on campus or within the Canvas course management system.
The Canvas LMS can be accessed beginning on the first day of class.
*** CANVAS Orientation is NOT the same thing as New Student Orientation.
