If you take your laptop to your advising meeting your advisor can walk you through the process step-by-step.
Mini terms are a great way to get two courses you need in one semester ( Examples MTH 100 and MTH 112 or BIO 103 and 104). You can take one Mini term 1 and the other Mini term 2.
You MUST meet with your advisor EACH SEMESTER before you can register.
You are not considered fully registered until you pay your tuition.
If you don't pay your tuition and fees by the semester deadlines it will cause you to be dropped from your class.

SEARCH BY TERM: Find the Search by Term drop-down menu and select the term, then click submit.
SUBJECT: Look in the Subject box for the subject you want to take (biology for example BIO)
LIMIT SEARCH: The other boxes allow you to add more details about the classes you are looking fro. For example, put "101" in the Course Number box if you are looking for a BIO 101 course. You can add information here if want to limit the search by a specific instructional method (Hybrid, Online, Traditional, or All Three) by campus, days and times and even by instructors.
CLASS SEARCH: Once you have added your additional search options, click on CLASS SEARCH at the bottom of the page. (If you do not add any additional information other than the subject you are searching for, a list of all class options for that subject will appear.)
FIVE DIGIT CRN: Once you find the class you want to register for look for the five-digit course registration number (CRN) next to the title of the class, and write it down. Once you have the classes you want to register for, you are ready to register (hint: Don't close your class search yet, because you may need to look for a second choice if your first class choice is full)
Once you have a plan:
MyNACC: when you have the classes and the CRNS you need go back to www.nacc.edu and click on the MyNACC tab at the top of the page.
LOGIN: Your login is your NACC email example (A00000000@alabama.edu) and your password is the password you set up when claimed your email.
REGISTER FOR CLASSES: On the BANNER SSB QuickLinks tile: Click Register for classes, on the next Registration screen, also Click Register for Classes
SELECT TERM: Click on the dropdown menu and select the term you want to register for.
SEARCH CLASSES: Add the subject, course number or you can do an Advanced Search and add more information. Then hit search.
FIND YOUR COURSE: Look for the CRN of the class you choose in your plan. If it is available hit the add button and that class will be added to your schedule. If the CRN you wanted is not there scroll the list of class that still have availability and add the one that meets your needs. You can click the green search again button to look for your next class.
CLASSES WITH 099 SECTIONS: When choosing your 099 section you need to make sure that it is with the same instructor that your main course is with. (For example if you have ENG 101 with Jody Ragsdale you need to also choose a ENG 099 section that he is teaching.)Add the 099 FIRST, then the 100 or 101 class. So add them both before you hit submit.
IDENTIFY IF A CLASS IS A MINI OR FULL TERM CLASS: You can hover over the Meeting Times row and a pop-up will appear that will show you the course dates. If it is a mini term the date range will be shorter than the full semester. (see the MINI or Full semester video below for more details)
FINALIZING YOUR CLASSES: Once you have added all the classes you need simply hit the submit button and you are registered.
If you have more questions you can ask your advisor. It is their job to help you navigate the registration process.
