We all experience stress in dealing with the minor and major issues in our life – traffic jams, pollution, deadlines, targets, travel, finances, relationships, wellbeing... It is inevitable to feel, or even be overwhelmed by, toxic emotions such as anger, fear, guilt, resentment, regret, bitterness, shame, anxiety, sadness... To put it in three words: LIFE IS STRESSFUL.
Stress disrupts our self-healing and self-regulating processes and accelerates aging. Unmanaged stress undermines your productivity, health and wellbeing. Managing stress could significantly reduce such deleterious effects and enable you to be happier, healthier and be more effective in the moment, even in difficult situations. It also helps to boost resilience - the ability to successfully adapt to stressors, and ‘bounce back’.
The three-day webinar is a primer in stress management with a fusion of ancient wisdom of Mindfulness, Yoga and modern science, with emphasis on ‘how to’.

About Captain JV Avadhanulu VSM (IN) Retd
I was diagnosed with four incurable diseases in 1987 and the medical opinion was that I would not live beyond the age of 50. I am now 79, and enjoy excellent health and wellbeing; thanks to Yoga. In 2007, I quit my professional career in technology field to live in Auroville, where I discovered the purpose of my life in sharing the practical tools and techniques that helped me to regain and maintain my wellbeing. I began a new journey in facilitating workshops. More than ten thousand people from forty countries attended my retreats/ workshops in India, Europe and USA.
Prior to joining Auroville, I had a successful career spanning 38 years across Indian Navy, Academia and industry in top R&D management positions. I received the Vishisht Seva Medal from the President of India for distinguished service in 1984 and Jain Memorial Gold Medal for Innovative Design from the Chief of Naval Staff in 1983.
I am an alumnus of IIT, Kharagpur. I was a visiting faculty at IIM(Indore) and IMT University (Gwalior) in the area of wellbeing.
